Rudolf ERDEI has a background in electronics and software engineering, especially Artificial Intelligence, a M.Sc. degree from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca in Computer Science and Engineering in Genetic Algorithms. Currently he is project manager, researcher and software engineer within the HOLISUN R&D department. His research interest includes Metaheuristic Algorithms, Artificial Intelligence, IoT hardware to software integrations, cloud/mist/edge computing, distributed systems, energy optimizations, logistic operations software, and optimizing VRP class problems. He is member of the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement no. 862665 ICT-AGRI-FOOD, Horizon 2020-MODSOIL and member of other international programs of HOLISUN S.R.L. as CHIST-ERA-FUNCTIONIZER.
